Men have lost their place in this world.
Everywhere you turn, sympathy seemingly abounds for women and children. Support groups. Scholarships.
Strange, but not many people seem to care about how you’re doing.
“Men’s Issues” is a massive category… shame, porn, masturbation, anger fits, infidelity, loneliness. These are many areas of men’s lives that they feel they must go through alone.
Men need other men with whom they can discuss these matters. Real Men. Not fake macho men who haven’t wrestled with their own demons.
A lot of us men are DIY individualists. Seeking help is not our first choice. Often, we must be pushed into reaching out – after reaching a breaking point.
Masculinity has become “taboo” in our culture.
For many reasons, men are being told constantly they should be more like women.
I wholeheartedly reject that idea.
Strong, healthy masculinity involves coming out of darkness into the light.
Embracing emotions. Using anger for you. Owning your place in this world.
Real change can be more fun to make than you thought.
