Busy enough as it is!
Therapy is a commitment, but you have so much on your plate right now that taking time off work is stressing you out even more.
Why would I go to therapy if getting to therapy makes me even more stressed?
Getting out of the office – or even the house – is difficult these days.
You shudder at the thought of taking off more time. The last thing you want is for your coworkers or boss to see you as a slacker. Heck, you probably don’t even want them knowing you’re in therapy.
Plus, there’s always the latent threat of getting pulled into a last-minute meeting.
In this post-COVID world, you still have a concern about heading out of home and potentially exposing yourself more. For many people, virtual therapy is a better option.
Let me reassure you that…
There’s no need to use your sick days, PTO, or spend time in traffic.
With all the technological advancements, barriers around in-person meetings should NOT prevent you from getting the care you need.
Virtual therapy is a viable option that provides what you need without sacrificing the effectiveness of therapy.
Even if you come in person, virtual therapy is always an option if something comes up last minute.
How does virtual therapy work?
For virtual visits, I use a HIPAA-compliant web platform. Attending the session is as easy as entering a URL into your browser.
You can attend the session from anywhere in Texas. We can have phone sessions, too, if you prefer. I ask that you are in a private location, free from any outside interference. For online sessions, you also need an Internet service with a good connection and video access.
The virtual therapy room is a place to examine your ‘how’ – the entrenched relational patterns you engage in and how you act out in response.
And yes, we will talk about emotions. More importantly, we will feel them together – because that’s where the healing occurs.
Don’t let anything stand in your way.
Virtual therapy accommodates your busy life and allows you to decide the when and where.
I offer a safe and secure connection where we can explore your concerns and find solutions.
